Examples of common positional mistakes - Seat leaning backwards
This causes too much weight at the base of the cantle at the back of the saddle.
This in turn causes the horse to invert therefore it is unable to engage it’s hind legs and come through
This will also prevent it from carrying you through it’s core, under the saddle
You will be unbalanced and your legs will be further forward than they should be
You will be pulling back on the contact so the horse is unable to move forward in a rhythm
To correct this sit tall, keep your weight even in your stirrups and relax through your shoulders and chest
