Novice - H half 10-12m circle returning to the track between E and K

This is another suppleness demonstration to the judges and the counter canter shows if the horse is balanced, straight and engaged from behind with a good connection.

In the video the half circle starts from H (so don’t go into the corner after H) to G or upto 2 metres wide of it, then you start your diagonal line, in counter canter,  to the track between E and K.

You need to make sure the horse does not drop it’s inside shoulder once it is in counter canter as this will unbalance it and it could change leg before you want it to.

The second movement in the video is more relaxed and supple than the first and the hind legs are coming under.
