XC Academy | Jumping a double of shoulder brushes

The box before was straightforward to jump in your rhythm. There was a short incline to the first element before the brushes.

You needed to get close and deep in a coffin canter to pop it so they don’t over jump, making it difficult for the first element of the brushes.

The horses can not see where the fence before is going to take them until after they have taken off so it is important to keep your legs on to give them the confidence to jump.

The ground runs away on landing  - I had walked 5 strides and got 5 as I did not want to be too open to the middle element as then we would have over jumped and got one and ½ to the final element.

He jumped the brush combination well on 2.
